The Lebanon Strawberry Festival cordially invites you to participate as a candidate in the selection process for the Lebanon Strawberry Festival Court.

The selection process consists of completing the following applications, a two-step interview and meetings to understand the requirements and benefits that being a member of the Lebanon Strawberry Court offers.  Scholarships will be awarded based on eligibility and judging Coronation.

You will be asked to wear make-up and possibly off the shoulder dresses.  Please take into consideration before applying.

Application:

1.  Selected through application process.  Applications may be obtained from the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce, Lebanon High School, and East Linn Christian Academy.

2.  Qualifications:

• Attend school at Lebanon High School, East Linn Christian Academy, Lebanon Chapel, any Lebanon area charter school or Home Schooled with a Lebanon residence.

• Must be a senior in high school or have a senior ranking if home schooled.

• Must be at least 16 years old by January 1, 2008.

• Complete initial application.

Selection Process:

1.  Two-phase interview process:

• Review panel of three judges to interview candidate.  Judges will be selected by Board of Directors with one judge not affiliated with the Festival.  Each panel member will 2 predetermined questions.  Selection of top 10 will occur.

• Top 10 and parents or guardians will meet with Lebanon Strawberry Festival representatives to cover application, court requirements and answer all questions.  In order to be eligible to continue with the interview process, a parent or guardian must be present.

• Second Review Panel of three different judges to interview.  Top five will be chosen as the Lebanon Strawberry Festival Royalty Court.

• Day Dress

• Festival T-Shirts

• Jeans and/or Shorts

• Tiara

• Sash

• Shoes

• Jewelry

• Professional Photos-Group and Individual

• Necessary Food and Lodging
